Impressions from Finland 2006
(where some people like to drink
a little more than necessary,
some dogs are equipped with GPS,
the number 13 is not a problem
and moose are lurking behind every door)

Impressions from China 2005
(where most stages are very red and
at least some people are called "Hans").

Doing the funk with Pee Wee Ellis in Paris.

Bret Willmott  is an excellent guitar player, book author (published by Mel Bay),
Berklee Professor, teacher of Bill Frisell and others a friend and a great guy.
He also leads a guitar orchestra featuring some of the finest
American and European guitarists appropriately called "Bret's Frets".
During a European tour Bret and Christian took off from the Frets for some duo club dates in Germany.
The banner above (notice their individual names depicted as flags) attached to a
converted storage house / concert hall in Stralsund on the East German seaside
has to be one of the most passionate advertisements ever seen for a jazzguitar duo gig.

From a news paper article (!):
Bret and Christian sharing intimate feelings -
and a music stand..:-)

Jamming at NAMM with Phil Upchurch.
